Events

In 2018, we successfully launched our flagship event, the PeaceXCulture Fest, which is an event that includes a selection of performing artists for an evening of entertainment,
networking, and positive impact to the community.

The main focus of our 2018 event was to raise money for Texas Children’s Hospital and provide exposure for young performing artists in the community through music, poetry, spoken word, and cultural dances. Through collaboration with and sanction of the Office of Philanthropy, we were able to raise a significant amount of money for the benefit of the Texas Children’s Hospital Cancer Center.

Additionally, we provided a stipend for the young artists that performed at the
fundraiser to further encourage them.

In 2019, we collaborated with the University of Houston Wellness Center to highlight their Mental Health First Aid program, a chapter of the National Council for Behavioral Health.

We also partnered with University of Houston to give aspiring fashion designers a unique platform to showcase their talents in our Make a Statement fashion show that was included in the PeaceXCulture Fest.
